E3 Meat Co. supplies The Rib

The Rib Steak House in Cassville is continuing its partnership with E3 Meat Co., which supplies beef to the iconic restaurant while doing some good at the same time. Zanetta Campbell, owner of The Rib, said the product, which the restaurant has used since reopening in November 2022, is all-natural and well-liked among area cattlemen with high standards.

Barry County Master Gardeners will host their annual fall garden workshop on Sept. 21 at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center, located at 602 West St. in Cassville Doors will open at 9 a.m. and the program will begin at 9:20 a.m. The workshop will feature local venders, plants for sale, door prizes, and food and refreshments. There will also be three presenters with interesting topics.
Cassville grad to cheer on College GameDay

Jacob Hall, a 2020 Cassville graduate and lineman for the state runner-up football team, will likely be featured on national television Saturday as part of College GameDay. After graduation, Hall attended Pitt State University, graduating in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in physical education. He was a member of the Pitt State Cheer Squad and competed nationally every year. After graduating from Pitt, he was accepted to the University of Oklahoma, pursuing a Master’s degree in educational administration, curriculum and supervision. Hall tried out and was selected to the OU Cheer squad in May. College GameDay will be broadcast on Saturday from the OU campus in Norman, Okla.
