3 Southwest seniors awarded Hagan Scholarship
Three Southwest High School Class of 2024 graduates will avoid student debt in coming years, as each has been awarded the Hagan Scholarship, worth up to $60,000 over four years. Scholarships were awarded to Lilly Wolf, who is planning to attend the University of Idaho to study Wildlife Resource Management; Faith Outhouse, who is planning to attend Missouri State University to study Nursing; and Kameron Kelley, who is planning to attend Drury University to study Architecture.

Shelter Scholarship goes to Chappell
The Shelter Insurance Foundation has awarded a $1,500 scholarship to Avery Chappell!, a graduate of Cassville High School. Shelter Agent Terri Lynn DeGraffenreid Brattin sponsors and partially funds this scholarship.
Chadwick awarded music scholarship
Stewards of the Dr. Russell Robinson Music Education Scholarship have announced Vincent Chadwick is the 2024 recipient.

Surprise! Gosvener awarded $10K scholarship
On April 24, Cassville High School senior Audrey Gosvener was just going to Taco Bell for a burrito. Instead, Cassville school staff, Gosvener's family, friends and Taco Bell coworkers were gathered to congratulate her on a $10,000 accomplishment.

Wheeler taking soccer power to Crowder
Cassville senior Ashton Wheeler may have just set a school record in long jump, but his passion for sports is taking him another direction after graduation. A three-sport athlete in soccer, football and track and field, Wheeler signed for the former on April 1, deciding to play soccer at Crowder College in Neosho.
Shelter sponsors local scholarships
This spring, the Shelter Insurance Foundation will award two $1,500 scholarships, one each to a graduate of Cassville and Wheaton high schools. Cassville Shelter Agent Terri Lynn DeGraffenreid Brattin sponsors and partially funds this scholarship.
