7th grade girls win Big 8 West

The seventh and eighth grade middle school girls basketball teams have completed their season, with both teams finishing strong in the Big 8 West Division Tournaments. Cassville Middle School was host to the seventh grade conference tournament. After a very close game against Seneca, the Lady Wildcats finished with a win, 21-18, making the Wildcats the Big 8 West Division Champions. 50 YEARS AGO: A BLIZZARD VIEW — The photo was taken Wednesday afternoon during blizzard conditions in Cassville. A one-block view is nearly obscured by the hard blowing snow that followed heavy sleet. Temperature at the time on the First National Bank display was 20 degrees, adding to the uncomfortable situation of the By this hour, schools had been dismissed to permit bus routes running in advance of conditions becoming more serious. Springsteen just thought he was born to run, but luckily, he was picked up by Cassville Police Department before he was hit by a car. This brave Blue Heeler is looking to spend his glory days with a loving family who can give him the attention he deserves and lots of play time. Springsteen was born in the USA and his estimated date of birth is Feb. 2, 2023. All the Haven’s pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations and microchipped.
