Southwest Pink Out supports students with cancer
The Southwest Lady Trojan volleyballers Emily Brooks, Abi Hnem, Holley Montondo, Olivia Hnem, Paula Callison and Lexie Walker will sponsor their 17th annual Pink Out event Tuesday, Oct. 13 vs. Marion C. Early. Baseball, cross country and both middle school basketball teams are also participating in the fundraiser. A bake sale, breast cancer awareness T-shirts, and a coin drive highlight the festivities.
Southwest Volleyball to Host Pink Out, Senior Night
The Southwest High School volleyball team has three important dates to celebrate in October. On Oct. 9, Purdy will visit the Lady Trojans for Pink Out 2025. This is the 16th consecutive year the school has hosted a breast cancer awareness event. The team has theme days planned all week and fundraisers for two students, Payton Neukam and Haven Holmes. There will be a bake sale, coin collection, 50/50 raffle and serving contests to raise money.
Pink Out celebrates quindecennial
The Hmen Sisters, Olivia and Abi, help decorate the gym in advance of Pink Out 15 at Southwest High School. The event marked the 15th season the Lady Trojans have celebrated breast cancer awareness with a special event.
