First 2 inmates complete Lifeskills course at jail
Two inmates at the Barry County jail have completed the Lifeskills Cognitive Awareness course offered by the Community Care Coalition. Christopher Coburn, and Justin “Todd” Taylor, are the first inmates to complete the course and were presented certificates of completion by Barry County Sheriff Danny Boyd and Course Coach Teresa Phillips.
Crowder honors Community Care Coalition
Community Care Coalition, Barry County has been honored with the 2025 Community Partner of the Year Award by Crowder College Adult Education & Literacy (AEL).
Community Care Coalition takes shape
In a strategic move to adapt to the evolving landscape of community services, the former affiliate of Imagination Library, Barry County has rebranded itself as the Community Care Coalition, Barry County. The transition began amid the statewide rollout of the Imagination Library program by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
