The two candidates for Barry County Prosecuting Attorney and two candidates for Barry County Presiding Commissioner answered questions on Thursday at the Barry County Candidates Forum, hosted by the Cassville Democrat at the Cassville High School Performing Arts Center.

There are different ways we can encourage business growth such as a TIF or a chapter 353 tax abatement. The city of Monett is currently working on both of these, I actually sat on the committee to set up the rules for their 353 plan. The commission and the cities and communities just need to set down and discuss what will work best for each community. My door is always open for a discussion.
