Lynn Hilburn: Work still needed on Bayless-Salyer house
We have finally completed the placing of the columns on the front porch at the Bayless-Salyer House at 9th and Townsend streets. The Barry County Historical and Genealogical Society would like to thank the people, families and businesses who have contributed money to pay for the purchase and installation of the new columns.

Cassville senior Madison Halterman wrapped up her prep basketball career at SWMO All-Star Saturday game at Mission University in Springfield on March 23. Unaware she was entered into the 3-point shooting contest, Halterman had been sitting in the stands when her name was called to shoot.

Cassville License Office contract up for bid
The Missouri Department of Revenue is announcing the upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) of the license office in Cassville, located at 700 Main St, Suite 1 in Cassville. Bids will start being accepted April 10, and must be submitted by April 23.
Garden, pool meters now available in Cassville
The City of Cassville is renewing a service to more accurately bill sanitary sewer usage for residents with substantial outdoor water usage. Residents may check out a separate water meter to attach to a hose bib or yard hydrant to record water use that does not enter the sanitary sewer system.

Cassville’s next Champions of Trivia will be crowned on April 19 at the Cassville Education Fund Trivia Night fundraiser. The informal evening of fun and games begins at 7 p.m.
4th Annual Blues and BBQ on Friday
Wildcat Jazz to perform The Cassville Jazz Bands are tuning up for Blues and BBQ, inviting the community to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to the high school for this open-air concert and barbecue on Friday at 6:30 pm. Last year, Kelly Tolbert and some of his friends rode their motorcycles to the fundraiser.
