The city of Cassville has announced the resumption of building permit issuance and building inspections, effective immediately. This initiative aims to enhance the safety, quality and integrity of construction projects within the community.
Police detail tractor pull incident
A local man is charged with two misdemeanors and was placed on a 12-hour hold then 96-hour hold after allegedly causing a disturbance at the tractor pull in Cassville on July 6 and subsequently assaulting a police officer. Tanner Williams, of Cassville, is charged with misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor resisting arrest.

Life Change celebrates 3rd year in Cassville

Bicyclist struck by vehicle in Cassville
A Cassville man was injured on July 13 when he was bicycling on Old Highway 37 and collided with a vehicle. According to a Cassville Police Department report, at 7:39 a.m.

Owyn England sings Elvis' "Blue Christmas" during the Cassville Christmas in July event on Saturday. England is a member of the nine-member Next Generation Band, comprised of youth ages 13-16.

Trout Tales, July 17
I stopped by the FEMA Event Center last week to see my favorite hillbilly, Rusty Pliers. This magician and ventriloquist performed for the Cassville Branch Library’s Summer Reading Program, and the YMCA day campers enjoyed the show, too.
