Family of missing teen pushes for information
The family of Serenity Lynne Black, 17, of Rogers, Ark., who has been missing for more than a month, is making a push locally to find the teen, as she is believed to be in Barry or McDonald counties.

Trout Tales, June 21
After taking a couple weeks off from reporting, I found myself last week at the Cassville Aquatic Center for the last day of the Safety Around Water program. This is the fifth year of the partnership between the school and the Cassville Area YMCA, and we can’t think of a better summer school offering.

Safety Around Water program completes 5th year
Incoming second-grader at Cassville, Ainsley Miller, enjoyed the last day of the Safety Around Water Class by hitting the slides, getting assistance from Bradan Dickinson as she hurtled into the surf. The last day of the Safety Around Water program was Thursday. It’s the fifth year of the partnership between the school district and Cassville Area YMCA.
