Two seconds at Cassville Relays
Apair of second-place team finishes were awarded to Cassville’s boys and girls track and field teams at the Cassville Relays on April 22, and the teams combined for 11 individual first-place finishes.

The Cassville boys and girls track and field teams brought home a total of 30 individual medals, including three firsts, at the Monett Invitational on April 8.

Leaping into history
Preparing for his second long jump at the Cassville Relays on April 16, Wildcat senior Ashton Wheeler had a feeling he might could make history. His personal record at 6.3 meters, Wheeler leaped into the Cassville history books with a jump of 6.71 meters, surpassing Devin Linenbrink, who held the record with a 2010 jump of 6.58 meters.
