Middle school football teams win Big 8 Conference titles
After finishing the season undefeated this fall, both the Cassville Middle School Seventh and Eighth Grade Football Teams have been named Big 8 Conference Champs in their respective divisions. Buttram wins 1st at disc golf fundraiser
Cassville Wildcat Disc Golf Club members participated in the Throw Long, Pink Strong: A Throw Pink Fundraiser in Lowell, Ark., recently. The event was able to raise over $1,500 for Throw Pink and the Pink Fund, and Cassville’s Veronica Buttrum took first place in her division.

Cassville trio qualify for XC state
The Cassville boys and girls cross country teams will send three of their members to the 50th MSHSAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday. At the district race in Plato, junior Kayli Anderson finished 18th in 22:30, and senior Jadyn Williams was 20th in 22:34.

Southwest hangs hat on serves
Of all the things the Southwest volleyball team did well this season, it was best at serving. The Lady Trojans, who ended their season in a straight-sets loss to New Heights Christian Academy in the Class 2, District 11 Tournament, served at a 94% clip.
