Big plays provided plenty of excitement for Cassville (0-2) on Saturday, but difficulty stopping McDonald County’s offense combined with a struggle to move the ball led to a 32-20 loss to the Mustangs on the road.

Wildcats alumni celebrated at home opener against Seneca
The Cassville High School Football program recognized football alumni from the classes of 2000-2004 prior to the varsity game on Aug. 29. “Alumni Night is just a small way for us to show how much we appreciate the tradition that comes before us,” said Clay Weldy, Cassville High School head football coach. “The community of Cassville has embraced football, and Wildcat Nation has become an amazing 12th man for us over the years.
