Man charged for knife attack
69-year-old allegedly threatens victim, dog on Main Street A Cassville man is facing a felony charge for allegedly attacking a victim and the victim’s dog with a knife on Main Street in Cassville on Saturday. Demoine Neely, 69, of Cassville, is charged with first-degree assault, a Class B felony.

Police detail tractor pull incident
A local man is charged with two misdemeanors and was placed on a 12-hour hold then 96-hour hold after allegedly causing a disturbance at the tractor pull in Cassville on July 6 and subsequently assaulting a police officer. Tanner Williams, of Cassville, is charged with misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor resisting arrest.
Woman charged with theft from board
An Exeter woman is facing a felony theft charge after allegedly stealing more than $9,000 from a community board on which she served. Chelsea Ball, of Exeter, is charged with felony stealing of $750 or more.

Cassville woman charged with sex crimes
A Cassville woman has been arrested after being charged with three felonies relating to alleged sex crimes. Makensie Koehler, 32, of Cassville, is charged with first-degree child molestation, possession of child pornography and incest.
Purdy police seeking info on home invasion
No immediate threat to community from April incident The Purdy Police department is seeking information regarding a home invasion where one person was injured and two others assaulted. Jackie Lowe, Purdy police chief, said on April 20 at around 11:20 p.m., an officer responded to a reported home invasion at 401 N.
