County Commission has tank concerns
On July 27, the Barry County Commission adopted a written Resolution highlighting concerns the commission has about a pending operational permit for an industrial food and meat-processing-residuals storage tank to be constructed in the county.
Old jail sells for $60K
The old Barry County jail has been sold. Cody Stehlik, of Cassville, purchased the property on June 19 with a negotiated bid of $60,000, which one county commissioner voted against.
