Meet Danery, the Haven of the Ozarks Pet of the Week. Danery is active, friendly, good with kids, walks on a leash, has done well in a crate at offsite events, and gets along well with other dogs. She has had a couple bad experiences with people, but she doesn’t hold that against anyone. Her estimated date of birth is Aug. 21, 2021, and she weighs 37lbs. Driskill gets $10K scholarship

A homeschooled Cassville student has recently been awarded a scholarship from the Horatio Alger Association. Hannah Driskill, daughter of Mike and Amy Driskill is seeking out a four-year degree after she graduates in 2023.
Exeter deals with maintenance
The city of Exeter will see a water rate increase, repairs on the master controller and remote receiver on both well houses, and the Exeter chief of police will allow time to focus on ordinance violations in the city limits.
April food service report released
The Health Department divides food service code violations into two categories; Priority and Core items. Priority items are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination, or illness and/or injury.
Fastest Wildcats sprint on Sports Day

Cassville primary and intermediate schools held their annual Sports Day on May 13. After a fun day of various field events, races and water activities, students competed to earn the title of “Fastest Wildcat.”

Betty Belle Frost, 95, of Holiday Island, Ark., passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born July 28, 1926, in Manteca, Calif., the daughter of William and Fern (Stone) Berg.
