Jennie Lee Smith, age 66 of Cassville, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born on November 20, 1957, in Sheridan, Wyoming, the daughter of Harold “Dean” and Sally (Erickson) Yeager.

Rose goes to Grizzlies
Cassville senior CJ Rose has been playing baseball most of his life, and he will continue to do so in the fall, as he’s signed on April 24 to pitch for Missouri State University in West Plains. Rose said it has only been the past couple years he’s gotten serious about playing collegiately, and he’s happy to make the move.

The Cassville boys and girls track and field squads will head to Mountain Grove on Saturday, aiming to qualify to the Class 3 MSHSAA State Track and Field Championships on May 17-18 in Jefferson City.
