58 camp with Stiles
A total of 58 campers attended the Jackie Stiles basketball camp in Cassville on June 27. Children attended from Cassville, Neosho, Branson, Mt. Vernon, Marionville, Exeter, Southwest, Wheaton, Shell Knob and Pea Ridge, Ark., among others. It was the second year for the camp, which was open this time to grades 3-12 with sponsorship by the Cassville Wildcat Basketball Boosters.

Wheaton delegate goes on Youth Tour

Bright futures receives $966 donation
Roaring River State Park Concessionaires, Jim and Carmen Rogers, have donated $966 to the Cassville R-IV Bright Futures program. The Rogers’ donation reflects the money collected by the sale of children’s trout tags on March 1, Opening Day of Trout Season.
Local students earn distinction
Wichita State University has announced the names of 3,273 students who were on the WSU dean's honor roll for spring 2023. To be included on the dean's honor roll, a student must be enrolled full time (at least 12 credit hours) and earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Drury announces Spring 2023 Dean’s List
Earning a spot on Drury University's Dean's List is a significant accomplishment. The recognition means a student earned a grade point average of 3.6 or greater (on a 4-point scale) while carrying a full-time course load of 12 or more semester hours at Drury, a top Midwestern university, according to US News & World Report.
