Storm season is upon us. As I pen this piece on Tuesday morning, we are in between lines of thunderstorms, and two tornado warnings had been issued in Lawrence County in the last hour — and I literally just had to stop typing this to post a storm damage report in Monett at Highways 37 and 60 and in South Park.

Kyle Troutman: Spotting storms in Barry County
The Cassville area received its first true taste of tornado season in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Just after midnight, storms that had been spinning off tornadoes in Oklahoma approached Missouri, leading to a tornado warning in McDonald County, and ultimately, the same for Barry.
