Cassville 3rd at Marion C. Early tourney
Cassville High School recently attended the Marion C. Early Speech and Debate Tournament. There were 18 schools in attendance, and as a team, Cassville placed third overall in points to win third in team sweeps.
Cassville sends 11 to state speech and debate
Cassville Speech and Debate won big at districts this year, placing second overall as a team. Cassville medaled in 18 events, and 11 of those go to state. The following students are going to state:

Cassville High School Speech and Debate students competed in the Big 8 Speech and Debate Tournament at Mt. Vernon on Feb. 8.

Cassville’s speech and debate team took first in team sweepstakes points a the Southwest Tournament recently.
Cassville wins speech and debate awards
In November, 14 members of the Cassville High School speech and debate team competed at the Marion C Early tournament. Cassville competed against 18 schools and received third place in team sweepstakes.
4 qualify for Speech and Debate nationals
Four Cassville High School (CHS) Speech and Debate students have earned their spot at the National Speech and Debate Tournament, set for June 16-21 in Des Moines. During the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) district qualifying tournament, the following students placed first or second out of 25 competing school districts.
