The 92nd annual reunion of the 12 Pioneer Families of Southwest Missouri and the surrounding areas will be held on Sept. 20 at the Monett City Park Casino, located at 101 S. Lincoln Ave. in Monett’s South Park.

Generations Project will reopen its food pantry on Sept. 4 from noon to 5 p.m. Starting the following week, on Sept. 7, the Generations Project will move to a new regular schedule of Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for resources. 

A Free Pancake Breakfast will be offered Sept. 5 from 9-11 a.m. at First Christian Church of Cassville, located at 905 Old Exeter Road in Cassville.

The Cassville school district has released Back to School information for the 2026-2027 school year. The first day of school is Aug. 25.

The Monett Historical Society will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Aug. 18, at 7 p.m. in the Event Center at the Museum.
