The last day to register to vote is July 8 for those who are not current registered voters of Barry County and who wish to vote in the Aug. 4 Primary Election.

The Cassville Alumni Association’s annual dinner will be held on May 23 at 6 p.m. at the Cassville High School commons area. Doors open at 5 p.m., and dinner is at 6 p.m.

The Cassville school district is gearing up for a summer full of learning at summer school. “Traditional Seated Summer School: Launch into Learning” will be May 18 to June 12, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., offered to incoming kindergarten to current eighth grade students.

The Exeter Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace will host a bed build at Emmanuel Baptist Church, located at 821 Old Exeter Road in Cassville, starting at 9 a.m. on May 2.

The Spring Hymn Fest is on April 26 from 4-5 p.m. at the Eagle Rock Community Association Outdoor Pavilion; The Cassville Band Boosters are hosting CHS Band’s Blues & BBQ on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Cassville High School Football Stadium parking lot.

Carr Lane Baptist Church, located at 9276 Hwy. 86, south of Shell Knob, will host the “God Loves People” revival meeting April 19-22.
