Cassville Walmart will host a school supply drive on Saturday. Community members may “stuff the bus” with school supplies for Wildcat students and staff.

Dickerson Park Zoo will be at the Eagle Rock Branch Library today (Wednesday) at 4 p.m. Attendees may learn about the animals the park brings.

The Purdy Community Picnic & Fireworks Show will be held Thursday at The Gathering Place in Purdy, located at 100 Old Business 37 and Highway C, beginning at 6 p.m. There will be a picnic meal, live music and a huge fireworks show at dark.

Independence Day Celebration at the Cassville Senior Center

A Bicycle Repair and Ride will be held on Sunday at the Aquatic Center Greenway Trail entrance from 2-4 p.m.

Come be a hero (or a god). Join the Cassville Arts Council in bringing “The Lightning Thief - The Percy Jackson Musical” to life. First rehearsal  is June 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sho-Me Plaza, located at 404 State Hwy. 248 in Cassville.

The Cassville City-Wide Clean-Up will be held the week of June 9-13; The Cassville Farmers Market is open weekly on Saturdays on the Barry County Courthouse Square, from 8 a.m. to noon.
