Come be a hero (or a god). Join the Cassville Arts Council in bringing “The Lightning Thief - The Percy Jackson Musical” to life. First rehearsal  is June 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sho-Me Plaza, located at 404 State Hwy. 248 in Cassville.

The Cassville City-Wide Clean-Up will be held the week of June 9-13; The Cassville Farmers Market is open weekly on Saturdays on the Barry County Courthouse Square, from 8 a.m. to noon.

Roaring River State Park will host Kids’ Fishing Day on Saturday. Youth will have the opportunity to fish all day for free and connect with nature through a variety of activities.

The Cassville High School Annual Alumni Dinner will be held on May 24 from 5-8 p.m. at the performing arts center.

The Old Church Gallery Farmers’ Market runs every Thursday from 8-11 a.m., offering farm fresh produce, eggs, jellies, relishes, baked goods, cut flowers, handmade crafts and more.
