Virgil is a very handsome and gentle boy who was dumped with dog friend, Vienna. He loves her, but she’s found her new home. He’s a bit timid and needs a patient adopter who will help him build his confidence.

Meet Boo Boo! She’s crate trained, housetrained and loves people of all ages. She’s good with other dogs and has already been a fun playmate for several other Haven dogs. She’s been good with cats in the shelter environment. Boo Boo would likely fit in well almost anywhere, although an active home would be her favorite. Her age is a little over a year and her weight is 47 pounds.

Haven of the Ozarks Pet of the Week, Sept. 18
Barnaby’s date of birth is Dec. 22, 2021, and he’s a blue Bluetick Coonhound/ Mixed Breed. Barnaby is a sweet boy who can be a little shy at first. However, when he opens up, he is energetic, playful and happy to be with his people as much as he can!

Hutch and his buddy, Starsky, were found tied to the Haven sign at the end of our road with an electrical cord. Upon intake, we discovered Hutch had contracted Canine Parvovirus because he had not been properly vaccinated as a puppy. He required hospitalization at the vet. Hutch beat the virus and is ready to go to a home where he will be properly cared for and spoiled rotten. He is such a sweet dog who has a lot of love to share with his new family! Meet Maverik! This handsome black and tan beagle/ bloodhound mix needs a home. Maverik is great with children, loves any toy that squeaks, is a great car rider and is accustomed to a leash. He is still young and could benefit from some training, but he does know the commands down, sit and stay. He gets excited to see people and is very loving.

Aledo is one of 8 pups found dumped on the road. He is a black lab mix born on April 17. These pups deserve a great family. They will be fixed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and ready to go home with a new owner on July 17.

Lacey is an adorable and fun mixed-breed pup. She likes to play and get the attention of humans. She is good with other dogs and kids. Her date of birth is Jan. 19. She is white with brown and black on her face. Lacey will be fixed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and ready to go home with her new family on July 3.
