Jig On the Water

Roaring River is in great shape right now. The river is now at 96 CFS and this is really a good flow for the river. The dry fly fishing has really gotten good. The last few days there are still lots of Caddis, blue wing olives and a few hoppers on the water already.

30 YEARS AGO: INSTALLING FIRST ELECTRICITY — Cassville got electricity in the summer of 1906 in this installation process. This project is on East Eighth street. Buildings at the right are Barry County Bank, with Henley Cafe at the left.

‘Cats crafting culture

In his first season as head baseball coach at Cassville, Simon Beeson said his squad put more emphasis on culture and mentality than wins and losses, an approach he hopes will build the program in future seasons.
