2 Freedom employees promoted
Freedom Bank of Southern Missouri, based in Cassville, has announced the promotion of two of its associates, Beth Hudson and Robin Cooper, to key leadership roles within the organization.

Exeter students dig in at Barry County Community Garden
The Barry County Community Garden had some special visitors recently when students from the Exeter school district rolled up their sleeves and pitched in.

Pink Out raises $3K at Southwest
Southwest High School recently held its 16th annual Pink Out event and raised $3,000 for two students battling ailments. The students, Payton Neukam, a high schooler suffering from bone cancer, and Haven Holmes, a middle schooler battling leukemia, were the recipients. A bake sale, loose change drive, a serving contest, pass the hat and general donations throughout the district all helped raise funds. The annual event is organized by Coaches Mandy Henry and Steve Voyak and the Lady Trojans.

Randy Crane: Resolve to be a thankful person
This month, we set aside a day of Thanksgiving. For many people it will be a day devoted to the Three Fs – family, food, and football.
