County passes SB190 ordinance
Following the April 8 General Municipal Election vote — with 91% in favor — the Barry County Commission passed an ordinance Monday enacting Senate Bill 190, which offers a property tax freeze for seniors 62-and-over.

Vital ICE app now available to Barry County residents
Barry County residents may now download and sign up for the Vital ICE (In Case of Emergency) app, which may help first responders and hospital staff better assess and treat residents in cases of emergency.
