Pounds of prescriptions collected (11/25/10)
Almost 20 pounds of unused medications were collected from Barry County during a prescription "Take Back" program held Nov. 12. Kati Rose, representing both the SW COED and Community 2000 (C2000), reported five Washburn residents turned in a total of 12.37 pounds of unused medications during the drop off event. Six people in Cassville also participated in the event, turning in a total of seven pounds of unused or outdated medications. No one in Exeter participated in the event...
MoDOT to change its snow removal tactics (11/25/10)
Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) officials announced changes in the upcoming winter road maintenance schedule at the November meeting of the Local Emergency Management Committee (LEPC).
