Annual tractor pull draws a crowd
Ryan Seedorf, of Granby, got a little air at the start of his pull at the annual Barry County Truck and Tractor Pull, held at the Stumpff Family Event Center on Thursday.
Pullin’ in cash for Keen
Kenneth Eagan, of Washburn, finished in second place in his class at the 3rd Annual Pullin’ for the People. The annual event began in 2023 to benefit Bryson Wilderbruer, who was seriously injured in a vehicle wreck. The 2024 installment benefitted Kuper Tuten, who was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was a year old. This year’s take went to Byron Keen, a local child born with hydrocephalus, a condition which causes fluid to accumulate in the brain.
Pullin’ for the People held for 2nd year
The Second Annual Pullin’ for the People truck and tractor pull was held on Saturday at the Stumpff Family Event Center in Cassville. The approximately $7,500 in funds raised at the event were donated to Kooper Tuten, a local child in remission from a Leukemia diagnosis when he was a year old.
Pullin’ for the People returns
A charity tractor pull held in 2023 is getting new life this year, returning to the Stumpff Family Event Center this month with a new name and new individual the event will benefit. The 2nd Annual Pullin’ for the People tractor pull is set for Aug.
Saturday night slides
Kyle Dahmer, of Sheldon, begins his pull in the 8200 stock tractor division, billowing smoke as he got going. Dahmer took second place at the annual event, held at the Stumpff Family Event Center on Saturday.
