Merry Christmas candidates announced
Cassville High School has announced the 2025 Merry Christmas candidates. The students are currently collecting financial donations that will support the Share Your Christmas program. Share Your Christmas is a community initiative that helps ensure children under the age of 18 get to experience the joy of Christmas. The two students who raise the most funds for Share Your Christmas will be crowned Christmas royalty. Students are collecting money through Dec. 15. Merry Christmas royalty will be crowned during the CHS Christmas Assembly on Dec. 19.
$16K raised for Share Your Christmas
Jill LeCompte, left, accepts a check for $16,686.53 on behalf of Share Your Christmas, a service of the ozark Area Action Corporation’s Barry County Neighborhood Center. This year, Share your Christmas provided gifts to 100 families and 315 children. Joei Blankenship, right, and Will Finch, were named Miss and Mr. Merry Christmas at Cassville High School for raising the most donations to the cause.
