Old jail sells for $60K
The old Barry County jail has been sold. Cody Stehlik, of Cassville, purchased the property on June 19 with a negotiated bid of $60,000, which one county commissioner voted against.
No sale of old jail
The Barry County Commission has 90 days to consider a path forward with the former Barry County jail property, as three submitted bids were rejected on Thursday.
