We’re getting closer to the truth. The Missouri Western District Court of Appeals ruled Friday that the ballot language for Amendment 5 needed to be clarified for voters before it appears on the ballot in the Aug. 4 primary. Initial language did not disclose the fact that the amendment can create new taxes on previously untaxed goods and services.
