The Barry County Sheriff's Office responded to 215 calls for service for the week of June 3-9. The CAD events created by central dispatch are the Calls for Service Barry County Officers respond to every day, included in those calls are alarms, assaults, burglaries, domestic disturbances, DWI's, stealing, harassment, medical issues, paper service, prisoner transports, suspicious persons, traffic stops and warrant service.

Mayo is just the sweetest girl. She came in covered with ticks and was starving. She is now thriving and learning that people aren’t as scary as she first thought. In fact, hugs and cuddles are her favorite. Her breed is unknown, and her estimated DOB is Jan. 18, 2024. All dog adoptions at the Haven are half-price in June.Adopters can complete the adoption application at www.havenoftheozarks. org/adopt. No appointment needed for adopters. The Haven is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week. All Haven of the Ozarks pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped.
