Chamber announces awards
The Monett Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated its biggest night with the annual membership banquet on March 5 at the Monett City Park Casino. Awards for the year were presented, outgoing board members recognized, and new board members elected.
South Building to come down
The March 17 Monett School Board meeting focused much of its time discussing the “next big project” in the district, the demolition of the South Building located on the former high school/middle school campus.

Relief Society Birthday Celebration
On March 8, International Women’s Day, 50 women gathered at the Monett Missouri Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to celebrate the birthday of the global women’s Relief Society, founded in March 1842, to give relief to those in need.

Hall of Fame worthy
