Soul and spirit are not the same. The common tendency is to use the terms interchangeably as if they were the same, but they are not. More specifically there is a profound difference or distinction to be made between the soul of man and the Spirit of God.
Shelter scholarship available to Cassville, Wheaton seniors
Recognizing academic achievement in local communities is one of the main goals of the Shelter Insurance Foundation, and this spring, the Foundation will award two $1,500 scholarships to graduates of Cassville High School and Wheaton High School.

With 14 wins and seven games left on the regular-season slate, the Southwest girls basketball team is setting its sights on a conference title and making some noise in a district with two more teams with as many wins.
Wildcats take 2nd in Seneca
Cassville’s returning state champion was the lone champion for the Wildcats at the 63rd People’s Bank of Seneca Tournament on Saturday, leading the squad to a second-place team finish in the 24-team tournament.

The Cassville girls basketball team (13-5) had a one-game week last week due to weather and returned to Big 8 Conference play Thursday night with Seneca coming to town.
