Mitchell retires from Mercy after 30 years
Mercy Hospital employee Lisa Mitchell retired last week after 30 years of service to the facility. Mitchell started at Mercy in 1995 after being contracted since 1988 as a physical therapist. She has four children, Jessica, Caleb, Michaela and Shannon, and she has been married to Charlie Mitchell for 44 years, and the couple reside in Seligman. Free Little Libraries installed on Greenway
The Community Care Coalition and city of Cassville have teamed up to install two new Free Little Libraries on the Cassville Greenway Trail. One is at the Greenway entrance at the Aquatic Park, and the other is near the pickleball courts at Cassville City Park. People may freely borrow books from the stand and return them when they are done, and people may donate books in good condition to the stand. The Coalition will routinely restock the stands.
