Donald Edward “Don” Wagner, age 56, of Washburn, Missouri passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at his home. Private services will be held at a later date.
Robert ” Clayton” Montgomery
Robert “ Clayton” Montgomery, age 104, of Exeter, Missouri breathed his last breath on earth and his first breath in heaven on Monday, November 28, 2022 He was born April 8, 1918 on the family farm in Exeter, Missouri the son of Samuel Marvel and Ruby Leah (Reed) Montgomery. In 1976 he was united in marriage to Iva Mae Haynes Collings, who preceded him in death on January 1, 2019.
Man injured in Hwy. 86 wreck
A Shell Knob man was injured in a wreck at 10:05 p.m. on Highway 86, one mile east of Golden.
Alleged burglar charged with vehicle theft
A 20-year-old Cassville man suspected to be involved in a string of commercial burglaries has been charged with two felonies relating to a stolen vehicle in early November. Jamison Jump, 20, of Cassville, is charged with tampering with a motor vehicle and felony stealing.
Exeter Miss Merry Christmas candidates named
Exeter’s 2022 Miss Merry Christmas candidates include, from left: Gracie McCracken, freshman; Dawnee Sorensen, sophomore; Emilia Hatfield, junior; and Kara Myddelton, senior. The Miss Merry Christmas event will be held on Friday at Exeter in the gym between varsity boys and varsity girls game.
Reed retirement celebrated

The Rib open for business

The Cassville United Methodist Church will host a Christmas Catana on Sunday at 6 p.m. It will include Handbells performance, soloist, children’s nativity play, and a reception.
