Charles Wade DeGraffenreid, 89, of Bolivar, Mo., passed away at his home Monday Oct. 22, 2012, surrounded by his family. Charles was born July 31, 1923 in Aldrich, Mo., the son of Charles Ceibert and Genie Alice Coffey DeGraffenreid. Charles was the 10th of 11 children, which all preceded him in death. He met and married the love of his life, Dorothy May Bates on July 31, 1943, in St. Louis, Mo. To this union was born six sons...

Frances Crocker "Grannie Frannie", 65, of Wheaton, passed away on Oct. 15, 2012, at Cox South in Springfield. She was born on July 6, 1947, to Harry and Jettie Lois (Ward) Hough in Stockton, Calif. In 1978, she was united in marriage to Larry Crocker in Carson City, Nev. They moved to Purdy in 1989. She worked for Ramey's grocery store. She later owned and operated Fran's BBQ in Purdy.
