Justin Boot acquires Thorco plant (07/18/12)
Justin Boot Company has acquired the facility on Sale Barn Road that was formerly occupied by Thorco Industries. The lease purchase agreement, which comes with an option to buy, will likely mean new jobs for the Cassville area. Cassville R-4 SB approves $16.6 million budget (07/18/12)
The Cassville R-4 School Board approved the preliminary budget for the 2012-13 school year at its regularly scheduled meeting on July 12. Planned expenditures will total $16,661,284 and revenues are projected to be $15,604,679. Superintendent Richard Asbill reported that the combined fund balances at the end of the 2011-12 school year were $10,840,487. Asbill estimates that fund balances will be $9,677,968 at the end of the upcoming school year...
