First baby born in Monett (01/13/11)
Dimitrius Mikhil Conlan Blair, son of Eden Blair, of Monett, has been named as the Cassville Democrat's First Baby of 2011. Little Dimitrius was born at 7:29 a.m. on Jan. 2 at Cox Monett Hospital. Airport lighting project completed (01/13/11)
Lighting improvements at the Cassville Municipal Airport, funded through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), have been completed and the airport is once again open for business.
