Wilson to retire from Sports World
Sharon Wilson, who has worked for Sports World for 25 years as the main screen printer, is retiring. Wilson has taught and trained many others and has enjoyed working with the community and making many friends along the way. She is excited to begin this next chapter.

CHS Beta Club members go to state competition
National Beta members from Cassville High School are celebrating their recent participation in the Missouri Senior Beta Convention. This is the inaugural year of Cassville Senior Beta Club, and the first competitive event for its members.

Purdy FBLA Qualifies 18 for State Leadership Conference
On Feb. 6, the Purdy chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) traveled to the annual FBLA District 5 Leadership Conference. Out of 34 student competitors, Purdy had a record 31 students place in the top 10 in 45 different events.

Haven of the Ozarks Pet of the Week, March 6
Prairie is a sweet pup who was dumped on a gravel road and is now waiting for a loving family to take her home to her own little house. She is sweet and gentle and still getting accustomed to shelter life, but we hope she isn’t here long. She is a black and white mixed breed (not sure what) and currently weighs 13 pounds. She will grow to be a medium-sized dog. Her estimated DOB is Nov. 29, 2023.

Meet Kaida! She is a curious, fun loving, energetic gal. She does well on a leash and is well behaved.
