1. Why do you want to win this position?

I want to win this position to be able to help the Wheaton School District to look to the future with the best interest of the students and faculty alike in mind while providing a safe and comfortable environment for our children to further their education.

2. If elected, what is your number one goal on the school board?

My number one goal if elected to the school board will be to focus on the retention of our valued Educators as well to help find ways to better facilitate our Educators with Advocate resources to ensure our children are given every opportunity to receive the education they deserve.

3. What areas of the school district do you think need improvement?

The area I feel the school district needs to improve in would be the support and development of our teaching staff. Focusing on a balanced teacher / student ratio to ensure our children are receiving the attention required to promote their learning process.

4. What capital projects do you believe the district should pursue?

Though I do believe capital projects can and do play a vital role in the development and growth of a school district, I believe that with the previous and proposed budget cuts our education system has suffered, the attention would be better utilized with focus on our teachers and supplying them with the tools and resources they need to educate our students without the added stress of funding limitations suppressing the availability of essential supplies that should be common nonissue items within the classroom.

5. What do you feel is most important for raising the quality of education provided by Wheaton schools?

I believe the key to raising the quality of education stems from a supported, well-equipped, qualified educating staff with a combined goal in mind to provide an inclusive learning atmosphere for our children.
