Velva “Jo” LaFever, 92, of Seligman, Mo., passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, at her home.

She was born February 26, 1933, in Enid, Okla., the daughter of Forrest and Nina (Klinger) Clark, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her youngest son, Gregory Allen LaFever.

Survivors incldue one son, Lynn LaFever, Jr. and his wife Linda of Mustang, Okla.; daughter, Veronica Copeland of Fort Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She grew up and attended school in Enid, Okla., graduating from Enid High School. She moved to Seligman in 1993 coming from Oklahoma City, Okla.

She dedicated 25 years of service to Walmart as a stocker from where she retired. She was a member of Seligman New Beginnings Ministries.

Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
