Brian Scott Foster, 57, of Eagle Rock, Mo. passed away Friday, October 23, 2026, at his home.

He was born May 7, 1969, in Washington D.C., the son of Dana and Janet (Dunavold) Foster, who preceded him in death. 

Also preceding him in death was his infant daughter, Maia Brianna Foster.

Survivors include his wife Chrysi House; his sons, Daniel Brust II of Eagle Rock, Mo. and Luke Brust of Eagle Rock, Mo.; daughter, Kara Foster and husband Connor Peterson of Springdale, Ark.; brother, Shane Foster of Fargo, N.D.; sister, Wanda Stenerson of Jamestown, N.D.; one grandson, and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He attended school in Fargo, N.D. He served in the United States Army during Operation Desert Storm in the Gulf War. He was employed by Informix and IBM as a software engineer and data specialist for 20 years. 

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 12:30 P.M. Friday, November 6, 2026 at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
