Dear Editor:

As animal lovers but career individuals, we want to give a huge hats off to Barry County Veterinary Clinic and their team. 

Running a successful business, caring for animals, managing customer relationship, etc can be overwhelming for a team. They do an incredible job in today’s society meeting expectations, because it is a balance when animals tend to harm themselves or get sick outside of normal working hours.  

To care for animals but also maintain somewhat of a work/life balance is not always easy. Society isn’t always the best at remembering that professionals have lives outside of work.  

Cassville and surrounding areas are very fortunate to have these vet clinics who care and care deeply about the welfare of animals. Barry County Veterinary, Herrin Animal Hospital and Riverview Animal Clinic — all of them step up to help when it is needed and as a community we are blessed to have that right here in our backyard and not have to travel a huge distance.
