2 Shell Knob men killed in wreck
Vehicle goes off roadway on Stallion Bluff Road

Two men were killed and another seriously injured in a wreck at 10:52 p.m. on Friday on Stallion Bluff Road, three miles north of Shell Knob.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a male was driving a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado southbound when his vehicle ran off the roadway on a curve, struck a tree and overturned. Driver information s pending further investigation.
Two men, a 24-year-old and a 48-year-old, both of Shell Knob, were pronounced dead at the scene at 11:51 p.m. by Gary Swearingen, Barry County Coroner. Both men were transported to Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
A third male, 30, of Franklin, Neb., suffered serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
These are the 123rd and 124th fatalities of the year for Troop D of the Patrol, which covers 18 counties in southwest Missouri, including Barry.
