The Stones Prairie Lutheran Church Picnic will be held July 18 starting at 6 p.m. at the church, located at 5732 Farm Road 1057 in Purdy. The meal includes hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, chips, homemade pies, ice cream and chips. There will also be children’s games, bingo, a bazaar, a quilt raffle and fellowship. Quilt raffle tickets are $1 each and can be purchased by contacting a member of the church. Holding the quilt to be raffled are Margaret Rupp, Betty Meier, Helen Rupp and Carolyn Schad.
