Drive-by shooting in Washburn
2 juveniles, 1 adult involved in alleged incident

Three individuals were arrested in May as a result of an alleged drive-by shooting in Washburn.
According to a press release from Washburn Police Chief James Morgan, at about 1:40 a.m. on May 17, police were dispatched to a residence in Washburn for a possible drive-by shooting incident, Upon arrival, Morgan secured the scene and initiated an investigation by collecting evidence. No one was injured in the incident.
Morgan identified suspects, resulting in two juveniles, both residents of McDonald County, being arrested. They were turned over to McDonald County juvenile services.
An adult male was also identified, and charges of unlawful use of firearm, property damage and reckless discharge of firearm have been submitted to Barry County Prosecutor Amy Boxx.
Morgan said the incident was isolated, and there is no danger to the community.
