Ghosts, goblins, candy, oh my!

Every year, children in local communities get excited to dress up and head out to gather their Halloween candy.

Trick or Treating, or Truck or Treating, has looked a bit different in recent years, but this year, the superhero, princesses, and scary monsters are ready to head back out.

Cassville

The Mill Street Church of Christ will hosting a trunk-or-treat on Oct. 29 from 5-7 p.m.

The Corinth Baptist Church will also host its annual Trunk or Treat on Oct. 30 from 6-8 p.m. As usual, they will be offering up chili and soup in addition to treats at no cost.

The United Methodist Church in Cassville will have its annual Trunk or Treat in the parking lot on Oct. 26 from 4:30-7 p.m.

Seligman

The city of Seligman will host its annual Trunk Or Treat at city hall on Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m., and the city will be handing out goodie bags for children.

Trepidations is a haunted attraction in Seligman that will be hosting its own Trick or Treat event on Halloween night. With free admission, children can enjoy a portion of the haunting house, and get some candy from 4-6 p.m. Regular haunts will start back up at 7 p.m. In addition, Trepidations Haunted Attraction will have a no-scare night on Oct. 30.

Wheaton

On Oct. 28 at 1 p.m., Wheaton elementary students will be all dressed up and form a parade that goes downtown.

On Halloween night, there will be Trick or Treating all over town.

• At the city jail, the Wheaton Police Department will hand out candy starting at 5:30 p.m.

• The Wheaton Fire Department will give out candy at the Fire Station starting at 5:30 p.m.

• The Methodist Church will host a Trunk or Treat starting at 5:30 p.m.

• There will be many churches set up at the City Park for a Trunk or Treat at 5:30 p.m.
