Cassville playing with intent

By Kyle Troutman The Cassville volleyball team has an extensive list of goals, but one in particular rises to the top — playing intentional volleyball with courage and tenacity. Returning to accomplish that goal will be seven Lady Wildcats, including All-Conference junior Emerson Grossman, one senior and five juniors.

Wildcats cruise by Aurora

Big plays on defense, big plays on special teams and even bigger plays on offense propelled Cassville to a 42-14 victory over Aurora Friday. Clay Weldy, Cassville coach, said the victory was a sweet one for a home opener.

Lady Wildcats set lofty goals

A second-place finish in the district last season was just a whetting of the whistle for the Cassville softball team. Lori Videmschek, Cassville softball coach, said with six returners and four seniors, this year’s Lady Wildcats are ready to compete.
