Cassville awards storm debris cleanup bid
The city of Cassville has awarded a contract for mulching of vegetative debris from the May 26 windstorm piled high west of the municipal airport. The city sought bids on grinding 17,740 cubic yards of debris — equal to about 5,980 tons of mulch — as well as mobilization costs.

3 women injured in wreck
Three Cassville women were injured on Nov. 12 in a wreck at 3:10 p.m. on Highway 37, one mile north of Cassville.
Barry County Council on Aging seeks community support
The Barry County Council on Aging (BCCOA), a vital resource for local seniors, is reaching out to the community for financial support to continue offering essential services to senior citizens in Barry County. According to a Council press release, currently, the council’s programs and resources are funded exclusively by the Barry County Senior Citizens Tax Fund Board.

County sees 68% turnout
