Rickards aim to give property owners peace of mind Lakeside Home Watch & Property Solutions has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association for the second year. The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada.

Cassville Intermediate School special education students were cheered by their peers last week as they completed a balloon parade through the school. Brady Mueller, instructional assistant for Cassville, led the group of students through the halls of each grade level.

Surrounded by cheering staff, students and community members, the Wheaton school district officially broke ground Friday at the site for the new tornado shelter. In 2016, the Wheaton taxpayers approved a $1 million bond issue for a FEMA shelter to be built on district property.
